Resumen
Los sistemas y tecnologías de la información son elementos conceptualmente complejos y de carácter interdisciplinario que siempre han generado interés para la ciencia administrativa y la práctica empresarial, con más importancia, si cabe, en los últimos años, como consecuencia de un entorno económico y social marcado por la tecnología. En este sentido, son numerosas las reflexiones que se han realizado a lo largo del tiempo sobre los impactos que los sistemas y tecnologías de la información tienen en las organizaciones y los múltiples marcos de análisis que deben ser utilizados para investigar dichos efectos. Todo esto ha dado lugar a un campo de estudio dentro de la administración de empresas muy diverso y complejo en cuanto a temáticas, metodologías y enfoques. Ante esta situación, el objetivo del presente artículo es analizar, organizar y reflexionar sobre las principales aportaciones que, hasta el momento, se han realizado en la literatura y definir lo que pueden ser las tendencias futuras, de forma que este trabajo pueda facilitar a otros investigadores la compleja labor que supone el análisis de los sistemas y tecnologías de la información dentro de la administración de empresas.
Abstract
The information systems and technologies are complex elements and of interdisciplinary character that have always had interest for the administrative science and the business practice, with more importance, if it fits, in the last years, as consequence of an economic and social environment marked by the technology. In this sense, there are numerous reflections that have been realized throughout the time on the impacts that the information and technologies systems have in the organizations and the multiple frames of analysis that must be used to investigate the above mentioned effects. All these, has given place to a field of study inside the business administration very diversely and complex as for subject-matters, methodologies and approaches. Consequently, the aim of the present article is to analyze, to organize and to think about the principal contributions that have been achieve by the literature up to the moment, and to define what can future tendencies be, so that this study could facilitate other investigators the complex task that implies the analysis of the information systems and technologies inside the business administration.
