Propósito: La investigación se propuso revisar los principios de la metodología de revisión sistemática en la investigación de gestión, para que sean transparentes, inclusivos, explicativos y heurísticos; y así establecer: dónde, cuándo, sobre qué, y por quién se han publicado revisiones sistemáticas en la investigación sobre gestión. Metodología: En la investigación se llevó adelante una revisión sistemática de las revisiones sistemáticas publicadas en investigaciones del campo disciplinar de gestión desde principios de la década de 2000. Resultados: Se establece que el análisis crítico, junto con una discusión de lo que significan los hallazgos y cómo se pueden interpretar y aplicar al conocimiento en el área temática de la gestión, contribuirá aún más a la calidad de un artículo. Conclusiones: Es por lo que, los autores del estudio abogan por que la revisión sistemática en el campo de la investigación en gestión siempre considere la inclusión de una forma de síntesis conceptual.
Abstract
Purpose: The research aimed to review the principles of the systematic review methodology in management research, so that they are transparent, inclusive, explanatory and heuristic; and thus establish: where, when, on what, and by whom systematic reviews have been published in management research. Methodology: The research carried out a systematic review of systematic reviews published in research in the disciplinary field of management since the early 2000s. Results: It is established that critical analysis, along with a discussion of what the findings mean and how they can be interpreted and applied to knowledge in the subject area of management, will further contribute to the quality of an article. Conclusions: Therefore, the authors of the study advocate that the systematic review in the field of management research always considers the inclusion of a form of conceptual synthesis.
