The present study is a qualitative approach. It is a social project with impact on performance improvement in the functions of a Civil Society Organization in Ciudad Obregon, Sonora, Mexico; where a consultative process was applied through an administrative and operational auditing, and improvement proposals were raised for areas of opportunity detected, which were evaluated to develop and implement the highest priority thus contributing to the improvement the functions of the organization under study, thereby collaborating in the economic development of the community by providing support and assistance to the company, which also allows students who supported the project to acquire practice in the workplace and professional experience as consultants, while learning from practical experiences that lived in these organizations; and as profits made by the teachers is the opportunity to link university with the workplace. By implementing this project it is obtained as the participating organizations benefit fully aware and informed basis, with the current situation in terms of their activities, operations and procedures implemented and the level of performance they present. We also have a range of opportunities for improvement that can be developed and implemented to improve all aspects mentioned above.
